Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC)
The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya is a combination of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque art displays, as well as some from the 19th and 20th century. Built in 1929, the MNAC is actually located within the Palau Nacional and offers impressive views over Plaça d’Espanya and the city center.
Free entrance every Saturday from 3pm and on the first Sunday of every month.
La Virreina Centre de la Imatge
Located by the top of La Rambla and housed within a elegant 18th century baroque and rococo palace, La Virreina Centre de la Imatge where brief photo exhibitions take place.

Museu Picasso
Opened in 1963, the Museu Picasso displays one of the most wide-ranged art collections by the world famous 20th-century Spanish artist known as Pablo Picasso.
Free entry on Thursday afternoons from 6pm to 9:30pm, and the first Sunday of each month (9am to 7pm).
Museu d’Història de Barcelona (MUHBA)
Opened in 1943, after the Civil War, the Museu d’Història de Barcelona explores life in the Roman colony that was called Barcino.
Free entry every Sunday from 3pm for the entire day on the first Sunday of each month.
Palau Güell
The Palau Güell is designed as a mansion by the famous architect Gaudí for the Catalan industrialist Eusebi Güell. The Palau (palace) is located in El Raval neighbourhood just off La Rambla.
Free entry the first Sunday of the month.
Museu Marítim de Barcelona
The Museu Marítim de Barcelona (Maritime Museum of Barcelona) is of course nowhere other than at the Barcelona Royal Shipyards, a building of well preserved Gothic architecture. There you can witness the grandiosity of a replica of the ornate Galera Reial (Royal Galley), which was the flagship of the Christian fleet in the Battle of Lepanto in 1571.

Jardí Botànic de Barcelona
The Botanical Garden of Barcelona is set at the top of Montjuïc, nearby the stadiums used in the Summer Olympics of 1992.

Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB)
The Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona is found in El Raval, focuses on the city of Barcelona and it’s contemporary urban culture.

Museu de la Música
The Museu de la Música of Barcelona is an exhibits of a wide collection of musical instruments from all over the world.
Free entry on Sundays from 3pm onwards and all day on the first Sunday of every month.
Museu Blau
Museu Blau de les Ciències Naturals is a local architectural landmark in designed by Swiss architects Pierre de Meuron and Jacques Herzog. This natural history and science museum hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions.
